ZZ TOP a/k/a "That Little Ol' Band From Texas," lay undisputed claim to being the longest running major rock band with original personnel intact and, in 2004, the Texas trio was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Of course, there are only three of them – Billy F Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Frank Beard -- but it's still a remarkable achievement that they're still very much together after almost 50 years of rock, blues, and boogie on the road and in the studio.  "Yeah," says Billy, guitarist extraordinaire, "we're the same three guys, bashing out the same three chords."  With the release of each of their albums the band has explored new ground in terms of both their sonic approach and the material they've recorded. ZZ TOP is the same but always changing.

Singer-songwriter John Ondrasik has spent the past decade writing deeply personal songs that include social messages, invoke the human spirit and make an emotional connection. With the past six albums by Five For Fighting, the hockey moniker stage name under which he performs, Ondrasik has seen multitudes of successes. Five For Fighting's breakthrough came in 2001 with the Grammy-nominated song "Superman," and John's performance at The Concert For New York.

Ondrasik proceeded to become part of the American songbook with the iconic hit "100 Years," "World," "The Riddle," "Chances," and "What If." John's music has been featured in over 350 films, TV shows, and advertisements ranging from The Blind Side to The Sopranos. In 2022 John was the musical voice for the CBS hit show Code Black.

John has also been deeply involved in supporting our troops. From USO tours, supporting several Veteran oriented charities, and distributing over a million "CD for the Troops" to servicemen and their families around the world.

Ondrasik is currently working on a Broadway musical, various television projects, and a new Five For Fighting album while giving keynotes across the country to corporations and various organizations.

The Grand Rapids Symphony

Recognized nationally for the high quality of its concerts and educational programs, the Grand Rapids Symphony has been an important cultural resource in Grand Rapids and the West Michigan community for almost a century.

Led by Music Director Marcelo Lehninger and Principal Pops Conductor Bob Bernhardt the orchestra presents more than 400 performances each year, enriching the lives of approximately 200,000 people. Nearly half of those who benefit are students, senior citizens, and people with disabilities reached through the orchestra's extensive education and community service programs.

The Grand Rapids Symphony released its 13th professional recording in late 2021, Strauss & Villa-Lobos, a collection of live performances under the direction of Lehninger.  Another notable recording, Invention & Alchemy, featuring jazz harpist Deborah Henson-Conant, was nominated for the Grammy for Best Classical Crossover Album during the 49th annual Grammy Awards.

The orchestra's history boasts longstanding partnerships with its affiliates, the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus and the Grand Rapids Youth Symphony for over 60 years. More recently forming the Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Choruses and the Bach Festival.

The Grand Rapids Symphony made its Carnegie Hall debut in 2005 and returned in 2022 for a triumphant performance with the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus under Lehninger's baton.

Over the past four decades, Rick Springfield has worn many hats as an entertainer and performer. The creator of some of the finest power-pop of the '80s, a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician who has sold 25 million albums and scored 17 U.S. Top 40 hits, including "Jessie's Girl," "Don't Talk to Strangers," "An Affair of the Heart," "I've Done Everything for You," "Love Somebody," and "Human Touch."

The Grand Rapids Symphony

Recognized nationally for the high quality of its concerts and educational programs, the Grand Rapids Symphony has been an important cultural resource in Grand Rapids and the West Michigan community for almost a century.

Led by Music Director Marcelo Lehninger and Principal Pops Conductor Bob Bernhardt the orchestra presents more than 400 performances each year, enriching the lives of approximately 200,000 people. Nearly half of those who benefit are students, senior citizens, and people with disabilities reached through the orchestra's extensive education and community service programs.

The Grand Rapids Symphony released its 13th professional recording in late 2021, Strauss & Villa-Lobos, a collection of live performances under the direction of Lehninger.  Another notable recording, Invention & Alchemy, featuring jazz harpist Deborah Henson-Conant, was nominated for the Grammy for Best Classical Crossover Album during the 49th annual Grammy Awards.

The orchestra's history boasts longstanding partnerships with its affiliates, the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus and the Grand Rapids Youth Symphony for over 60 years. More recently forming the Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Choruses and the Bach Festival.

The Grand Rapids Symphony made its Carnegie Hall debut in 2005 and returned in 2022 for a triumphant performance with the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus under Lehninger's baton.

Buddy Guy:
The title of Buddy Guy's latest album says it all: The Blues Is Alive and Well. The legendary blues artist's eighteenth solo LP and follow-up to 2015's Born to Play Guitar showcases his raw and unadulterated sound, its fifteen tracks a true pleasure for aficionados and genre newcomers alike. "I got children and grandchildren who didn't know who I was, but nowadays we can play outdoor concerts and see kids that are eight, nine, twelve years old coming to me and saying, 'I didn't know who you was, but I read what Eric Clapton said about you,'" Guy explains when discussing his mindset around the new record. "I'm always trying to make an album that someone accidentally plays where some kid hears it, picks up a guitar, and helps keep the blues alive."

John Hiatt:
A master lyricist and satirical storyteller, John Hiatt delivers songs filled with tales of redemption, relationships and surrendering on his own terms. Hiatt's finest album is 1987's Bring the Family; other catalog highlights include the pop and rock of 1983's Riding with the King, the rough-hewn blues-rock of 2008's Same Old Man, and 2021's Leftover Feelings.  His lyrics and melodies have graced more than 20 studio albums, have been recorded by Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, B.B. King, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt and scores of others, and have earned him a place in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, a BMI Troubadour award, and a lifetime achievement in songwriting designation from the Americana Music Association.

A protégé of the legendary jazz master Dizzy Gillespie, Arturo Sandoval was born in Artemisa, a small town in the outskirts of Havana, Cuba, on November 6, 1949, just two years after Gillespie became the first musician to bring Latin influences into American Jazz. Sandoval began studying classical trumpet at the age of twelve, but it didn't take him long to catch the excitement of the jazz world. He has since evolved into one of the world's most acknowledged guardians of jazz trumpet and flugelhorn, as well as a renowned classical artist, pianist and composer.

He is one of the most dynamic and vivacious live performers of our time, and has been seen by millions at the Oscars, at the Grammy Awards, and the Billboard Awards.Arturo Sandoval reaches beyond the scope of mere effort. His struggles while in Cuba and since his defection have given him more energy and strength, urging him to accomplish and surpass his childhood dreams. Filled with a virtuoso capability, he desires nothing more than to share his gift with others who feel the same intense adoration for music as he does.
